Introduction

Hello and welcome to my website, which will follow the events of my model railway, currently under construction in my loft. Causeway junction is a factitious location, allowing me to run whatever type of trains I like on the layout, all the rolling stock is uk modern image. It features Lenz DCC control, and will in the future be linked up to a PC, which will allow me to set routes etc very easily. The layout has 4 running tracks on 2 levels with a station on one side and a large fiddle yard on the other side. The track is Peco code 100 with a mixture of wooden sleeper and concrete sleeper, the points are all Peco electrofrog. The radius of the curves on the layout is 36 inch minimum, formed using flexitrack, from the start of the planning stage having these large sweeping curves was a must. I am a big fan of freight trains, and will run trains from DRS, GBRF, DB Schenker, and Freightliner, the layout will include a TMD where loco's from the above companies will come for refuelling and maintenance.
